All purchases of Peplink devices from Pepnet Technologies come with one (1) year of warranty for that device as a guarantee that any hardware will be free from defects in materials and workmanship when used within the limits set forth in the documentation for that one year/ twelve (12) month period.
Should any Peplink hardware develop a fault caused by a manufacturing defect or issue with the firmware, and you have not violated any limitations (outlined in the Exclusions and Limitations section below) you are eligible for a free replacement. Diagnosis of the unit’s fault by Peplink through Pepnet Techonologies must be confirmed before you are eligible for a replacement device. Once the faulty unit has been received by Peplink the replacement unit will be released through Pepnet Technologies.
Peplink nor Pepnet Technologies is not responsible for any loss of data, profit or revenue, or any damages caused directly or indirectly by any fault of a Peplink device during production or during the RMA process.
It is the responsibility of the end customer and not of Pepnet Technologies to provide an interim networking device, if required, during the RMA process. If you wish for Pepnet Technologies to provide an interim networking device, you can loan a unit at the standard rate, or else please see the SmartCare option of extended warranty.
The warranty may be extended any time during the warranty period and up to fourteen (14) days after the warranty has expired. Any additional warranty purchased is applied to the day after the device’s warranty has expired to no exception.
If more than 14 days has passed since the expiration of a unit’s warranty (the “grace period”), the customer must supply the diagnostic report of the unit in question to Pepnet Technologies as evidence of the device being in working order, after which extended warranty or SmartCare may be purchased at the discretion of Pepnet Technologies and by extent, Peplink.
It is the responsibility of the end customer to request and pay for extended warranty before the expiration date and grace period. Pepnet Technologies reserves the right to reject any request to extend warranty or purchase SmartCare after this date. Exclusions and Limitations:
This warranty does not apply if: (a) the Hardware assembly seal has been removed or damaged, (b) the Hardware has been altered or modified, except by Peplink, (c) the Hardware damage was caused by use with non Peplink Hardware, (d) the Hardware has not been installed, operated, repaired, or maintained in accordance with instructions supplied by Peplink, (e) the Hardware has been subjected to abnormal physical or electrical stress, abuse, misuse, negligence, or accident, or (f) the serial number on the Hardware has been altered, defaced, or removed.
Any violation of the above renders the end customer ineligible to device warranty and any support of the device going forward is at the discretion of Pepnet Technologies. Pepnet Technologies holds the right to charge for any support given to a device found to have voided warranty. Any complimentary support provided does not infer continued warranty for the device and continued support as well as replacement units continues to be at the discretion of Pepnet Technologies, and may be discontinued or rejected at any time.
