Fasten Your Seatbelts, We’re Going Virtual!
Last Friday night, PepNet and RSM swapped business suits for racing suits, and office chairs for go-karts! Yes, you heard it right. We took a detour from the usual and hit the virtual tracks at VRACE, the Formula 1 of virtual go-kart racing platforms.
The Thrill of the Race
The evening was filled with high-speed thrills and friendly competition. As the racers lined up on the virtual grid, you could feel the anticipation in the air. The moment the lights turned green, it was a blur of colour and speed. The virtual reality environment of VRACE is so immersive, it felt like we were actually there, feeling every twist and turn of the track.
Team Spirit
What stood out the most was the camaraderie between the PepNet and RSM teams. Even though we were competing against each other, the spirit of sportsmanship was evident. There were cheers for every overtaking manoeuvre and applause for every well-navigated corner. Unfortunately, we all had a habit of trying to take each other out on the first corner.
The Power of Virtual Reality
This event truly highlighted the power of virtual reality. Despite being physically apart, we were able to come together for an evening of fun and excitement. It is amazing how technology can create such shared experiences, breaking down geographical barriers.
Looking Ahead
As we look to the future, I am excited about the potential of virtual reality in fostering connections and creating engaging experiences. I am incredibly proud of the PepNet team and grateful to RSM for being such worthy opponents. Here is to many more nights of virtual racing!
