I want to begin by expressing our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support we’ve received since the relaunch of PepNet Technologies and our exciting partnership with RingCentral, a global leader in hosted Cloud Communications. Your well-wishes and warm regards have been truly appreciated, and we are thrilled to be a part of such a like-minded and supportive community.
At PepNet Technologies, our unwavering focus has always been on our customers, and the recent tough decisions we’ve made are driven by our commitment to providing you with the best high-tech, high-value products and services in the business communications market. Stay tuned for more exciting developments in this regard.
However, today we want to shed light on another important aspect of PepNet’s identity – our dedication to the environment. Our motivation for embracing sustainability isn’t just a trend we’re jumping on; it’s a heartfelt belief shared by everyone here at PepNet. We are committed to doing our fair share to minimise our carbon footprint.
This commitment involves not only reducing our energy consumption and waste, which in turn reduces our operational costs, but also actively measuring and managing our net emissions. Transitioning to the Cloud is not only a business-savvy move; it can also have a significant positive impact on the environment. According to a forecast by the International Data Corporation (IDC), moving to the Cloud could potentially eliminate a billion metric tons of CO2 emissions over the next four years. We are trying to do all we can to reconsider our impact on the planet.
One of our recent environmental initiatives that’s been gaining momentum is our e-waste collection service. Shockingly, the United Nations estimates that a staggering 54 million metric tonnes of electronic waste are generated annually, with up to 80 percent of it ending up in landfills. This alarming trend spurred us to take action.
Our e-waste pickup service is not only convenient but also completely free. In fact, our last pickup was approximately one tonne, underscoring the magnitude of the e-waste problem within our industry. The issue has become so pressing that our state government is set to ban e-waste from landfills starting in 2024.
How does our e-waste pickup service work, you ask? It’s straightforward. You simply need to give us a call or an email, and we’ll schedule a pickup within a few weeks. Better yet, we encourage you to follow and share our PepNet Technologies LinkedIn and Facebook pages with your colleagues and network. This way, you can stay updated on the e-waste deliveries through our social media channels.
As I like to say, we’re all in this together, and we have a responsibility to future generations.
But that’s not all; we are thrilled to announce a special offer for those interested in exploring what the global leader in hosted Cloud Communications, RingCentral, can do for your business with the latest technology.
For every meeting with us to explore these opportunities, we will plant 25 trees.
There are no hidden terms or conditions – it’s a win-win situation for your business and the environment.
PepNet Technologies is not just a tech company; we’re a tech company with a deep commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. We invite you to join us on this journey towards a greener and more sustainable future.
Thank you for your continued support and trust in PepNet Technologies.
Warm regards,
Simon Bignell
