We have successfully collected and recycled 1 tonne of electronic waste from one of our valued clients, Stantec. We are impressed by their dedication to sustainability and their efforts to reduce their environmental footprint. Stantec has been recognised as one of Corporate Knights’ 2023 Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World, and we are honoured to be part of their sustainability journey.
This was the most challenging and rewarding pickup we have ever done, and we couldn’t have done it without the help of our friends at Kennards Hire in North Perth, who kindly lent us a trailer to carry the e-waste. We are very grateful for their support and partnership in our sustainability vision.
Our mission at Pepnet is to prevent e-waste from ending up in landfills and to recover useful materials that can be reused or recycled. E-waste is one of the most rapidly growing waste streams in the world, and it poses serious risks to human health and the environment.
